Agapanthus ‘Charlotte’

Organic African lily

The genus African lily is from South Africa and is moderately hardy. These plants are suitable to be planted in pots on a terrace. You can also plant African lily in your garden in early summer and take the plants back out in the autumn. During winter, the plants should be in a cool and frost-free place. African lilies have thick fleshy roots. It is a myth that African lilies should be cramped in a pot. So, just as with all other container plants, from time to time make sure to move them to a more spacious pot where the plant can develop. The flowers of the African lily can be white or all kinds of shades of blue. Make sure to give the plant enough nutrition for abundant flowering.
