Organic Autumn Anemone
Autumn anemone belongs to a large plant genus. These plants are indispensable in late summer and autumn. They prefer to grow in partial shade in regular soil. They can be planted in sunnier spots, but the soil must remain sufficiently moist (humus). It takes several years for the Autumn anemone to form a nice cluster. Cover the plant during the first winter. You don’t need to repeat this in the following years. It is preferable not to plant Autumn anemones after mid-October (though if you do, make sure to cover them extra well).
Goes well with many other plants, like Culver's root (Veronicastrum), tall Garden Phlox (Phlox), Aster (Aster), Lionshearts (Physostegia) and ornamental grasses.
