Organic Chinese Meadow Rue
Chinese Meadow Rue is often kept for the countless small flowers, its airy appearance, and its beautiful foliage. It was used to grow beautiful white cultivars. Because Chinese Meadow Rue produces a lot of flowers, it’s best to support the plant, for example by strategically placing neighboring plants or by using a well-placed stake. Chinese meadow-rue likes to be placed in partial shade in regular to moist soil. A place with a little more sun is ok, but the soil must contain sufficient moisture. When in doubt, pour compost into the soil. Due to its casual appearance, Chinese Meadow Rue can be used both in the border, as well as in a natural looking garden. Plants to place nearby: Monkshood (Aconitum), Japanese iris (Iris) and Knotweeds (Persicaria). Chinese Meadow Rue is attractive to bees and bumblebees, and can also be used in bouquets.
