Detail
A bulb lasagne is exactly what it sounds like: layer upon layer, neatly stacked, and then waiting patiently for everything to come to life of its own accord. This organic flower bulb mix has been carefully put together so that you can enjoy months of colour in a single pot. Just as one variety has finished flowering, the next one is already making an appearance. So you don’t have to work out a flowering schedule yourself; you plant the bulbs and nature does the rest.
A colourful flower bulb mix for your balcony, patio or garden
In a ‘bulb lasagne’, the flower bulbs are planted in layers. At the bottom are the larger tulip bulbs, above them the daffodils, and at the top the smaller crocuses and grape hyacinths. Each variety grows upwards at its own pace, so that the flowering period naturally stretches over several months. It’s as if the pot itself knows exactly when it’s time for the next surprise. These organic flower bulbs for pots are ideal for a balcony, terrace, patio or a colourful spot by the front door. Even in a small garden, they ensure a long flowering period without you having to keep planting new bulbs.
From the first crocus to the last tulip
The first smile arrives in February with the crocuses; they herald the arrival of spring, followed by the blue chionodoxa and the fresh daffodils. The grand finale is provided by the Freedom Flame tulip and the two-coloured Muscari. Each layer has its own moment, giving the pot a constantly changing appearance. This makes a bulb lasagne not only colourful, but also full of surprises. At the same time, the early-flowering varieties provide nectar and pollen for wild bees, bumblebee queens and other pollinators searching for food in early spring. So you’re not only bringing colour to your balcony or terrace, but also contributing to a vibrant, biodiverse environment.
Organic enjoyment, season after season
The flower bulbs in this mix are 100% organically grown, with care for the soil, plants and nature. Plant the layers in autumn in a spacious pot with good drainage and place it in a sunny or lightly shaded spot. Keep the soil slightly moist whilst the flowers are in bloom. Afterwards, allow the foliage to die back naturally, so that the bulbs can store up new energy. Many varieties will return the following spring or can be planted in a border later on. This way, you can enjoy a pot full of flowers every spring, just as nature intended.
