Anemone de Caen - ORG

Anemones coronaria ‘De Caen’ are richly flowering tubers. The flowers come in fresh shades such as red, white, pink, purple, and blue. With a mix, it is always a surprise which colors will emerge. The anemones have silky petals and a striking dark center. They grow to a height of between 20 and 40 cm and are ideal for brightening up flower beds or borders. They also look beautiful as a bouquet on the table. They prefer a slightly sheltered spot. Before planting, soak the tubers in water for 24 hours to enhance their germination and flowering. The photo shows the difference: before and after soaking in water, the tubers have absorbed all the moisture. Oh, and the bees love them!
