Bee Buffet for Containers v2 - ORG

Not everyone has a large garden. But everyone is entitled to a container full of flowers and a handful of foraging bees. The Bee Buffet Bulb Pack has been put together precisely for this purpose: 35 organic bulbs in four varieties, selected for their flowering time, colour and bee-friendliness — and particularly suitable for planting in containers and large pots.

This pack has been developed in collaboration with VELT, the Flemish ecological gardening association. VELT has been championing organic and ecological gardening for decades, and that expertise is reflected in the choice of varieties: Tulipa Tarda, Ipheion Uniflorum, Muscari Joyce Spirit and Tulipa Clusiana Tinka. Each has its own flowering period, each is bee-friendly, and together they create a cheerful and long-lasting display.

Plant and enjoy

Plant the bulbs in the autumn in a spacious container or large pot with good potting compost and drainage. Place the container outside in the cold — the bulbs need this cold period to establish roots and flower. As soon as spring arrives, the pack will do the rest. The Tarda and Clusiana Tinka start early, the Ipheion flowers for a surprisingly long time, and the Muscari Joyce Spirit completes the display with its two-tone shades of blue.
