It is best to plant the Allium Purple Rain bulbs as soon as possible after receiving them. If necessary, you can leave them in their paper packaging and store them temporarily in a dry, cool place.
If you wish to move them, wait until the foliage has completely died back and carefully dig up the bulbs. Allow the bulbs to dry thoroughly and store them in a paper bag or wrap them in newspaper. Place them in a dark, cool and dry place, such as a cellar or shed. Check regularly for mould or rot and replant them in the garden in the autumn.
