This tall purple allium 'Purple Rain' with round purple umbels is a cross between the Aflatunense 'Purple Sensation' and 'Christophii'. It has the best qualities of both species. The umbels are slightly larger and more open than those of the "Purple Sensation". Enjoy the spectacle at the end of spring when the bees visit this allium.
